ariel865 Posted March 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2007 I have read on hear that there is a ferry from Kings Wharf to Hamilton. Is it easier/cheaper to take a bus or taxi from Hamilton to the beaches? Either Horseshoe Bay or Elbow Beach. Thanks for any info!

If you take the ferry to Hamilton you will have to walk and get a bus for the beaches.
Sue L Posted March 19, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2007 We took the ferry over to Hamilton which was if I remember correctly a 35 minute or so ride, the bus would have taken over an hour and the ferry was such a pretty ride. http://www.experiencebermuda.com/maps/island-map.html Above is the link to the Bermuda travel bureau, it gives you everything about the island. Click on the transportation section and then buses and/or ferries to see the schedules. If you want to go to Horseshoe beach then take the bus, #7. You can buy the transportation passes right on the ship at the shore excursion desk. It was a very easy place to get around. We loved the island
