Liberty Decks, Riviera?

This will be our first cruise ever, and I am not sure what to think about the floor they put us on. I am told that we will be in room 1386 (6A) on the Riviera deck.

 

Any thoughts/comments on that area of the ship?

I see nothing wrong with that cabin, its an oceanview on the portside.

It's your first cruise, you probably won't be spending much time in your cabin anyways.

Riviera deck is fine. We've been on Riviera on both of our cruises and it was quiet down there. Since you are on the lowest passenger deck, there will be less motion of the ship felt (which is why we always CHOOSE to be on Riviera). Enjoy your cruise! :)

Thanks for the posts! I was worried that it would be too loud from the engines, or no good view, or something... but it sounds like it will not be bad at all.
