I tried to vote on the tread that was suposably taking a "poll" for southern city ports we would like to see Carnival use. I voted for Savannah and the next thing I knew I was at Orbitz site instead of cruisecritc. Is that allowed that you be switched to an entirely different site? This was not a pop-up. I was taken to orbitz and was no longer at cruisecritic.

Cruise Critic doesn't use pop-ups of any kind. It sounds to me that you have some kind of spyware on your computer. Because Cruise Critic is travel related, the spyware recognizes this and takes you to one of their travel related advertisers. Do a search for a program called Ad-Aware. (I believe it's on lavasoft.com) and download it. It's free and it works great to get rid of the garbage on your computer.

 

Just a bit of info....My sister works for Intel support. She said that 98% of her calls are regarding pop-ups and spyware from people who have Kazaa on their system. It's terrible. Check and see if maybe your kids have put it on your system.
