Bermuda Question

My wife and I are on the Crown Princess in July and was wondering if we can buy a Rum Cake on our stop over in Bermuda and bring it back onto the ship??

I don't know about Princess, but on Carnival the EXACT same rum cakes were for sale in the gift shop that were at the ports AND for the same price. Anyone else know if Princess gift shop sells Tortuga rum cakes?

There are two brands of rum cakes. Tortuga and Beardmans (I think that's the name). The second one has a milder flavour - very good. But when we tasted the Tortuga we liked those better AND they had more flavours to choose from. I'm not one that really likes booze flavoured chocolate or cake, but I do love these. They are quite mild and the booze makes them moist rather than flavoured. Matter of fact, think I'll go carve up a coconut rum cake now! LOL

The answer to your question is yes,rum cakes are sold in Bermuda. And, yes you can bring them back on ship and bring them home.
