2CrusinOldies Posted May 8, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 8, 2007 Check out the message boards on those two islands. Look under "Ports Of Call" . People have written many different things to see and do. We are going on this cruise January 27, 2008 and can't wait. We have been to St. Thomas before but not to the other ports offered. My Dh is from Minnesota. What city are you from?:)
Zeno Posted May 8, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 8, 2007 I HIGHLY recommend doing a taxi tour in St Kitt's that includes Brimstone Hill - a World Heritage Site.
98Charlie Posted May 8, 2007 #6 Share Posted May 8, 2007 Sorry I can't help you with La Romana. That's among our least favorite ports in the Caribbean. Guess if you love to do horse backing or golf you can find something there. St. Kitts, on the other hand, is among our favorite islands. Love the sugar (cane) train excursion in early February on Carnival Legend and will be going back to St. Kitts in Jan., 08 to see even more of the island. Island is beautiful. Book a cruise excursion or book a private one on your own. You can't go wrong. Sorry you lost Antigua. Antigua has black pineapples. Best fruit I've ever tasted in my life. Like others said, go to the port of call boards and do some heavy research. You are bound to find something that will interest you on your new ports of call.
