Packing for guys

I know there are a lot of repeat posts here asking questions that have been asked a thousand time, but I had trouble finding an answer I liked for this one: Guys, what do you throw in your suitcase (or pack for the more retentive men in the crowd) for clothing? Im looking for both type and quantity here.

 

A couple of assumptions here: To avoid any formalwear discussion (see every other thread here ;) ) assume I have formal clothing covered. Also, assume I don't want to use (pay for) the laundry services on board.

 

I did read CruiseDiva's site but her packing list seems a little light to me. So what do you think, guys?

this is basically what i consider the essentials collection, please note i put a * beside the stuff i make sure is in my carry on:

*2 t-shirts perday

2 pairs of/day

*3-5 pairs of shorts (assumin u dont mind usin some once or twice)

2 pairs boxers/day

*2 bathing suits (assumin ur other shorts dont double as bathing suits)

formal stuff

pair of pajama or lounge pants

at least 5 collared type shirts for when you wanna look a lil respectable without formalwear

2-4 pairs of nice pants if u dont mind possibly re-using

*more sunscreen than you think ull need

*aloe vera if u didnt take my advice on the suncreen

*toiletries
