Crown Sanctuary Costs!!!

I am interested in using the sanctuary but i was wondering how much does it cost to use?

When we were on in November, it was $15 for a half day on sea days, $10 for a full day on port days.

The Sanctuary is one deck above the spa pool.:) Now someone bring me a cold towel please...;)

 

 

PS: I wish Princess would convert the tennis/basketball court areas to Sanctuaries on the other Grand Class ships. What do you think?

On my last princess cruise we did not have a Sanctuary I don't want to seem dumb but what is this?

If they have to charge $280 a week tear it out and put the basketball court back.

Believe Crown is first and only right now. Emerald will have one too.

The pool below the sanctuary is free though and there are few lounge charis around there too - quiet and no kids as well.......

How do you pay to use the Sanctuary? I mean do you just show up and pay your $10 at the door or do you make reservations and have a pre-sest time/appt? If so, where do you make reservations?

The Sanctuary is another way for Princess to make money.... Because they don't enforce the chair hogging going on, it seems this is the only way to get a lounge.:rolleyes:

Interesting....sounds like Princess is always looking for innovative ways to make a buck. I said it on the post about the $75 alternative dining experience - I am thinking the all inclusives are looking like a better deal every day!

The biggest problem I had was getting a spot. These are highly desired and sell out early. One needs to get there before the hour to be assured of a spot. I was unable to use this as I wasn't there before they opened.

Of course this varies cruise to criuse, but it is in high demand.
