Southwest Posted August 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2004 Since I've read that you can get into the Pinnacle Grill for half price the first night, I'd like to know what is served in the dining room so that I can make an educated choice ahead of time. Can anyone direct me to a website with the day by day dinner menus on each ship? Or, if anyone is going on the Oosterdam in the near future, could you notice what the main courses and desserts are on the first night? Thanks for your help. Rare LAFFNVEGAS Posted August 4, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2004 I think the first night is usally pretty good. DH likes the Signature Chocolate Cake they serve for dessert only on the first night.
Giorgi-one Posted August 4, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2004 IMHO, the food and service in the Pinnacle Grill was far superior to any nights meals in the dining room on the Zuiderdam, with the possible exception of Lobster night when they served three great entrees. For $10 per person, it is probably one of the best bargains you will ever encouner on any cruise.
sheldrvrT6A Posted August 7, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 7, 2004 Prime rib was served on the O the first night of our late jUne cruise to Alaska along with other items and it was actually pretty good. Have fun. Jerry

bryanwal Posted August 8, 2004 #8 Share Posted August 8, 2004 Aha, I didn't know that. The concierge could have told us. The things you learn on these boards... Still, we wouldn't have met charming Mr. Anti-France if we hadn't gone to the dining room.
