Unless they have been changed since last spring, they are card swipe.

If they are card swipe, remember you can use any card with a magnetic strip. Last January on the Splendour, we used an old sea pass card.

Last year on Grandeur our safe stopped working altogether about day 4. It would not lock and I tried all the CC cards I had with me.

 

I wonder if the refurbishment this month will include new safes - hope so.
