Rum in Jamaica!

Just a quick message for those Rummies looking for deals on good rum in Jamaica. Don't buy your Rum at the island village. The last liqour store on the pier right before you get out on the pier has the best prices. A bottle of Havana Club was $8.00 cheaper there than the one I bought inside the Village shopping center. Wish I would have known, I'd have bought all my liquor there.

If I could just add my 2 cents . . . :D

Don't buy Rum at the Appleton Estate Rum Factory either. It was cheaper on the ship (Carnival Conquest). We didn't price the rum at the port as we already had our hands full.

General rule . . . Price things on the way out & buy on the way back.

Did you do the Appleton Tour? We are leaving on the Conquest Sunday and we're doing this excursion.
