cruisingcoppertop Posted April 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2007 I read in another post that someone had some problems booking with a TA that she was using for the first time and I don't want to have the same experience. I recieved a quote with Afforable tours (afforabletours.com) that was exactly the same as my local agent but afforable tours offered a $200.00 on board credit. So, now I am wondering, should I go with my local agent or book with an online source for the $200.00 credit? Has anyone ever used them? This is for the Liberty sailing 7/07/07(hey, I just realized...this is a lucky "7" cruise!) Rare Hlitner Posted April 3, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 3, 2007 Yes! I used them to handle a complex booking for a trip to Egypt. When we had an issue with the actual tour operator, one of the executives from Affordable Tours intervened on our behalf. I would not hesitate to book through Affordable in the future. cruisingcoppertop Posted April 3, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted April 3, 2007 Thank you, Hank. That makes me feel a bit more secure. I usually do all my own booking but was looking for deals online and they seemed to offer a good price. I am looking forward to going!!
