Help with Pub Crawl

hey guys, I am in need of a little help. Our upcoming cruise on Freedom is right around the corner and I have some questions...Is the Sky Bar a pool bar? Is it open at night? How about the Pool Bar and the Soliarium Bar ? Open at night? Ditto with the Wipeout Bar. I want to give a witty narrative to go with my instructions for the pub crawl and need to know if these bars are open at night so that I can include them in. Thanks in advance!

I can only speak from my experience on the Explorer of the Seas but I would assume that they would all work about the same...

The Sky bar is a pool bar and I believe that it stays open one or two nights until late (the nights that there is a deck party) The Pool Bar I believe works the same way... but the Solarium Bar is only open during the day. The Wipeout bar I would also assume would not be open at night.

 

I think that is a great idea to do a pub crawl! My first time on the Explorer they had one and it was alot of fun... it was a great chance too to see some of the bars that I normally wouldnt have ended up in! I also did one on the Carnival Pride - again, a great time. I'm from the NY area and they often hold them in NYC in the spring and fall. Can never go wrong with a pub crawl!!

Call me stupid........but what is a Bar Crawl? I have an idea that it is going from bar to bar, but is it an organized event?

From Bar to Bar like a parade...drinks in each bar....different bands playing...Mardi Gras beads put on your neck at each bar...

P.S. Yes, it's organized and there's a "parade" leader.

However, there are a lot of bars. If you have a drink at each one, I'd like to have the Alka-Seltzer concession the next morning.

 

You might want to check out http://www.cruisedailies.com for the compass for the day that you're planning your pub crawl. It lists the open and close times for all the bars.

 

I'm planning a reunion cruise on FOS right now for next year and this would be perfect for that crowd (husband's fraternity 40 years later).

I forgot to add that I carried my wine with me from bar to bar. I would have been flat on my face if I bought one in each bar.
