Lynne Myrna Posted April 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2007 I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me what the best beaches are in Antigua? Thanks in advance Lynne
caviargal Posted April 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2007 There are so many fabulous beaches in Antigua it is hard to choose. I enjoyed Dickenson Bay when I stayed at a resort there for a week on several occasions. I have also visited the beach at the Royal Antiguan while on a cruise ship stop there. Of the 365 beaches on the island, I think it will be easy to find one just right for you.:)
crazy4cruzin Posted April 5, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2007 My family and I went to Darkwood Beach and it was truly a picture postcard location. There was a small stand selling some drinks and food and a bathroom with a changing area also. We also were able to collect a bag of shells to bring back home. We had a great day there. Definitely one of the best beaches in my book.
waiting2retire Posted April 5, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2007 I also stayed at a resort on Dickenson Bay and agree with Caviargal that it is a lovely beach. We took a catamaran trip around the island and saw many beautiful beaches all along the shore (except for the south side which is rocky).
