Can I buy shipboard credit for another person?

We are taking our 2 sons and their wife/girlfriend with us on our next cruise. This will be the third time crusinig with them. The only expense to them is their drinks and souvenirs.

 

We always book the cruises while onboard to get the shipboard credit for the cabins. However, this year I would like to suprise them at the beginning of the cruise and let them know that we have added another few hundred for each of them to spend.

 

Has anyone done this? I'm wondering if I can go to the purser's desk and do this, with the charge being placed on my account.

The Purser will be glad to assist you. OR visit www.rccl.com the gift & gear area for gift certificates which are the same for them to use. BUt if the cruise is soon, then just do it with the Purser.

I did an on-board credit for my boss as a wedding gift. I knew the travel agent he used and she took care of everything.
