2 for 1 drink specials - how to find em'

I see mention of the occasional 2 for 1 drink specials. Do they announce these, does the bartender tell you or.....how do you find out about them.

I was on the Spirit last week and all I found were drink specials but no 2 for one drinks

How does one get a Mastercard coupon book at the casino? do you have to use your Mastercard to gamble to get one? Do you ask for it?

I could be wrong, but I think Shoreguy was talking about 2 for 1 drinks in the casino and not the Mastercard book thing.:)

You are correct - no coupons in the casino :) The old MasterCard coupon was only good for buy two drinks and get the 3rd free at sail away. Total value one free drink :(

Shoreguy, the 2 for 1 beer special in the casino after midnight--do they serve it in bottles or cans (vs. mugs or glasses/cups)? I assume so, since you said "stock up for the next day"....

 

By the way, thanks for your informative posts! Going on our first cruise in May on the Dawn and have found the info you and others have posted to be invaluable!

We hjave found that the coupons for drink specials have fine print, date and time and location to be valid, too much detail for vacation. We always miss the slight discount. We have a hard time remembering the latitudes party. The Art auction is great for some free drinks. (if you can remember it:rolleyes: ).

Hey, my friends and I are "domesticated"...if it's two for one, we'll drink any kind (well, almost) of beer! In fact, my one friend actually PREFERS Bud Lite!!:D

On the Pearl last month they had 2 for 1 drinks (no top shelf) out on the pool deck at around 3:30 or 4:00 and it lasted for 2 hours. Can't remember the exact time; too many dead brain cells from all the booze. :D

I love these boards.......everyone here is sooo great, i love the fact i can ask wierd questions and everyone knows the answers.....i truly believe that our first cruise would be a totally different experience if we hadn't found you guys! so, THANKS!
