Cruise lines out of NY area

We currently have a cruise booked on RCCL Explorer of the Seas for Sept. and since it is a port that we can sail from without having to pay extra for air fare we figure we will likely stick with it. Only problem is that right now RCCL only has one ship that sails from there. Is it worth it to stick with the same cruise line, cruise after cruise? We choose RCCL for this one because the ship looks so family friendly. Wondering what others do, do you stay with the same line to get deals...or switch depending on what is available for when you want to go?

Almost all of the major cruise lines cruise out of the NY area- RCCL and Celebrity from Bayonne, NJ, NCL, Carnival and HAL from NYC and Princess and Cunard from Brooklyn.
