Just wanted to update all you booze/soda/water smugglers.

 

Carried on 1 litre of vodka and a litre of rum in checked baggage. Took mixers of coke, club soda, red bull and V8 in soft sided cooler as carry on. The guy in front of me had one of those hard sided cooler full of drinks.

 

Absolutely no problem whatsoever. Wasn't questioned about it even once.

 

In port, purchased a few bottles of fine tequila. Mine made it on board through security with no problem, GF was taken until last night of cruise. Guess that was just luck of the draw.

welcome home! hope you had a great time. question about dining. did you have to request aq time change, and if so, did you notice an unusually long line for the maitre d?

 

wondering if the lack of a second dining room (and 2 other seatings) has more people competing for early seating on this class. i know it's 2 levels, but wondering if capacity wise, it might not have as many seats as 2 dining rooms on other ships. do you know? thanks. ~ trish

I didn't have to change mine so never went to maitre d. I booked this in December and requested early seating. All 4 of us got the 5:45.
