Packing and Pressing

Ironing for hours on vacation? I seldom iron at home, so I'm not going to do it on my pre-cruise and ship pressing fees are not in my cruise budget. I use Space Bags and wrinkle releaser, when necessary. Most of our clothes are the non-wrinkle type and DH never notices wrinkles anyway. We hang things in a garment bag, which seems to keep items from wrinkling.

Hi sailor girl

Here's a website I found before our first cruise as I was very concerned about looking 'rumpled'! http://www.onebag.com/pack.html

It actually works! It follows the same principle as the people who use the hanger method - the fewer the firm folds, the less wrinkles! I have always been an advocate of the tissue method as well b/c my husband has always worn 100% cotton shirts. Folding them like they do at the cleaners with tissue really keeps them wrinkle free.

Good Luck!
