Atlantis Submarine -- Kona

Husband and son just did the Atlantis Submarine tour in Kona. Pick up is at the same pier the ship's tender drops people off. They really enjoyed it. Saw lots of different fish and received all kinds of info. about the marine life in the area, etc. Just wanted to mention that they decided after the fact that they probably would have preferred the excursion that leaves from Waikiki instead as the personnel on the submarine told them there were old shipwrecks and what-not on the other tour.

 

Also, a heads-up for anyone eligible to buy discount tickets through the military MWR system -- make your arrangements for this tour at the Navy Exchange and pay $29pp vs. $97!

My kids really want to take a submarine excursion...we have never had the chance in the caribbean, but perhaps during our 4-night precruise stay in Oahu. Thanks for posting the review!
