It'sRC4ME Posted April 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2007 We have friends booked in balcony cabins on Deck 8 on Freedom of the Seas. We think their cabins are under the cantilevered hot tub. I noticed in a couple of photos that the "railings" on those balconies seem to be made of something different. Anyone know if they are still glass, or are they steel for some reason. Here's a link to what I'm talking about: http://www.brandis.org/fotogalerie/freedom06/res_211338137 Thanks for any info you may have!

rfoust Posted April 11, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 11, 2007 I had one of these rooms last year. They are glass with some sort of reflective coating on them. It is hard to see through the glass, even in daylight, because is it almost like a mirror.
It'sRC4ME Posted April 11, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted April 11, 2007 Thank you! I was afraid they would be stuck with the steel railing.
