Aft Cabin temperature

I have just booked my first aft cabin on upcoming cruise in May. Read on a post that aft cabins are warmer (76-78). Is this true because husband needs cold or he will be complaining whole cruise. If we open balcony door for ocean breeze at night, will that be cooler ? Thanks.....

What you are reading is the balcony is warmer then the sides.

The cabin temp will be fine-- close the curtains during the day and the cabin will be fine.

When you first get to your cabin the room might feel warm.(again close the curtains). but as you get underway== you will feel the coolness.

Aft cabins across the back do not get ocean breezes as the side cabins do. But going in May its not unbearable back there but will be rather nice.

Opening the balcony door on some ships will turn your air conditioning off. also if sailing to a port that has humidty it could be a mess. the room is cool the outside temp is warm and humid-- makes condensation in the room and everything gets damp.
