Check in Question...

My family and I are going on a Western Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Victory on May 20th out of Miami. I, however, noticed the Carnival Valor is also departing from Miami at 4pm on May 20, but for an Eastern Caribbean cruise. Anyone know how this will effect check in? Will it be super busy or will they have 2 different areas, one for each ship? On our last cruise, we were the only Carnival ship leaving that day (a Monday), and while I know the terminal is quite large, I wasn't paying attention to whether or not there was more than one check in area. Just curious if anyone knew. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure your terminal is reserved for your ship and only your ship. The other ships have their own entrance.. directly infront of their ship naturally.. so when you get in line I believe you're only waiting in line with people travelling on the same cruise.

correct me if i'm wrong
