Princess Cruisetours ~ Luggage pick up time?

We are taking a Princess cruisetour, land first, then cruise in early June. I was wondering on the land portion of the tour, when do you have to have your luggage out to be moved to the next destination?

 

I know my documents said that you can take one piece of hand baggage with you, however this would not be the usually roller bag that we use on airlines(according to the documents, the roller bag type of bag is too large for the train/bus travel)

 

All of our departures are at around noon, so I was trying to figure out how much before that we had to give up the bags. Any past experience on this? I appreciate the help.
