Who has booked 6E Family Staterooms?

I will be sailing with my Mother and two 4 yr olds. I have concerns about watching two very busy 4 yr old on a balcony. However, I want them to be able to see everything. I heard about the 6E cabins with the floor-to-ceiling windows. They sound like they would be good. Would it be possible for the two little ones to share the sofa bed? I don't like the idea of an upper berth. Does anyone have pics? Any other helpful hints would be appreciated. In advance, thanks for all your help!

the sofa is not a bed that pulls out. The sofa is a convertible sofa and the back comes off and there is the bed. Considering the size of a 4 year old--one can sleep in one side and theother on the other side..

OR__ take the mattress of the upper bed and place it by the sofa and they both can sleep there

we were on the conquest on the week of the 3/25--we were upgraded to a 6e on the spa deck--my dw loved the large floor to ceiling window the width of the room -its was just the 2 of us so we had plenty of room ==the sofa has draws under it that comes out for storage -they took the 2 twin beds and put them together for a king -the best deal would be to sleep the 2kids and one adult on the king bed and the other adult on the sofa --just a hint --if the bathroom gets really busy you can shower in the spa which is located on this floor --i did it every night and it was great -also plenty of bathroom space

we never closed our shades -loved to see the sun rising while having breakfast at the table and 2 chairs by the window--the window has the shape of a greenhouse effect so that adds room to the room

enjoy your cruise :) :) :)

We were upgraded to this 6E room on our last cruise. LOVED the SPA DECK!!! Floor to ceiling windows provided a great view of the sea and some ports. Plenty of light and room. I think it will suit your needs and provide a comfort level that you don't seem to have with the balcony and small children. Click on the thumbnails to get a larger view. Happy Sails:)

Here's a picture of the other side of the room. Before this last sailing, I thought that the balcony was my favorite room but I actually prefer this room to the balcony. I spend a lot of time on deck anyway and I found that while in our room I still had a perfect view of the sea without the windblown hair. When Dh napped, I was still able to sit at the table and read, listen to music or just relax to the rise and fall of the waves. (Just remember to close your curtains for other activities-there is a ledge for window washers or repairmen. Never saw any, but I was warned so i thought I'd warn you! :D )

Serene, please do! CC members have helped me so many times. I actually got this room because someone posted a picture of our originally assigned room on the Panorama deck. It was a nice room but the beds were anchored to the wall. This was an anniversary cruise. We may be old-but not that old! A quick call to our Carnival vacation specialist resulted in the Spa deck room. I truly enjoyed this room for all the reasons in my two prior posts. :)
