What is there to do in St. John?

Basically beaches..... You can hike a bit and there are a couple of resorts, but beaches and snorkeling are tops there. It's beautiful and a bit non commercial compared to St. Thomas. Kinda like getting away from it all...

... as well as incredible hiking, snorkeling with hawksbill turtles, exploring old ruins, and unique shopping. There are beaches that are known for different reasons - presence of coral, abundance of fish, variety of turtles, underwater snorkel trails, long sandy beaches, short secluded beaches, beaches at the end of rewarding hikes, etc.
