BrodyBarb Posted August 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2004 I've received so much info on this board about....everything! But there's one 'foggy' area.... My kids (10 and 14) are interested in video games of course so what I need to know is... How much do they charge and for what/how long? When do these places open and close? What, if any, are the restrictions ie. age limits etc? Are these places use as part of the Camp Carnival? In what way? Thanks
imlulu Posted August 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2004 Hmmm...I can't remember how much they charge but I think it was $1 per game??? The virtual reality had 1 day where it was a flat fee for the whole day. I think it was $25 for day.It is not part of Camp Carnival. However in the 9-11 group 1 night they have a up all night thing and they go there as part of activities. However you pay for the night. It ends at 3am and they deliver kids to cabins. Camp carnival has computer time and video game time.
serene56 Posted August 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2004 Games cost about a buck per play. Once they lose a turn--game over. Unless you are talking about the play station video games in the cabins. But will bet your kids will be too busy for video games, (do you really want them to have their privilege of the sign and sail card ....lol)
BottledRed Posted August 7, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2004 In our case, my fiancee loves games and is hoping to have some good ones on the ship. I'm happy to hear only $1 each, as we can easily blow $40 for a couple of hours at our local arcade.
mohavemommy Posted August 7, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 7, 2004 It was $1 each, but it didn't seem to be a good collection of games...

I hadn't even thought about the SS card billing neither! If they want to do that (could wait till they're home and do it for free) they will have to pay for it themselves out of their own spending money I think. (It's amazing how unimportant things suddenly become when they have to foot the bill themselves!!) But I don't know what you mean Serene, about the play station games in the cabin? PS. Thanks everyone for your imput!
