RCCL Way Back When

Oh, those were the days when we used to cruise so much (as kids growing up). You can see in my signature all the RCI cruises we've been on, but I don't remember which one went where. My favorite back then was definitely the Sun Viking.

 

We also cruised quite a bit on the Fairwind and Fairsky. That was my parents favorite line until they discovered RCCL.

in 1979 the sun viking left from barbados. i remember we flew from ny-miami-barbados. it was one of the best cruises and ships we have taken in the past 30 years and 25 ships. it was registered in oslo norway.

Actually the Sun Viking still has her Viking Crown lounge intact. She now sails as the Omar III for Asia Cruises. Very different look with the black hull but very nice interiors.

Wow...Asia cruises sure did one heck of a job re-doing the SV!! It looks so inviting.
