Monastiraki Swap Meet

Has anyone gone to this swap meet in Athens? We will be there on Sunday and understand from some reading that it can be alot on fun. We need to get from the port to here. Any ideas, suggestions. If you have taken a taxi what is the fare? We leave next Monday for a much needed vacation. Thanks for your help!

The easiest way is to Monastiraki is to take the subway/metro line 1 from Piraeus directly to the place. You will find some more threads which describe the way to get to the subway station.

The price by taxi should be around 9 EUR.
