Bow porthole cabins

Curious, everytime I see a pic of a ship from the front, I see portholes under the bridge facing the front of the ship. Who get's those rooms, ships officers ??

On the Holiday and on the Sensation, I've had far forward cabins with one and two portholes. M6 and E1. I always ask for those type cabins. Is that what you're asking about?

We have had them 2 time now. E10 and E8 i believe. We have one booked for next Jan.08 in E 9. I love them. a great place to sit and have a drink and watch the water. They tend to be quiet as they are all the way forward.

We have had them alll on the Inspiration. Go for it you will like them.

M8 on the Fascination baby!

 

I am booked in M7 on the Imagination. Very content with this category of room. Cheaper than a regular OV room and nicer than an inside. Love it.

No, sorry - we have a misunderstanding here. The cabins I'm talking about are on the sides of the ship. I see what you mean now, and I have no idea what type cabins those are....those probably ARE for officers.

I've been in them on three cruise. They are great for going to the show or the gym. But getting to the rest of the ship, the pizza and ice cream in the back and the dinner in the aft dinning room was a pain. Of course I did eat less than on other cruises.

One more interesting thing about them they have a posting above the windows telling you to keep the drapes closed at night for navigation purposes.
