ANybody know why Liberty is still sitting in FLL?

I have been watching the webcam for the Liberty and have noticed that she is still sitting at the port! They should have left at 4p.m. I thought:confused:

Anybody know why she is still sitting there?

Don't know. We just got off the ship today and had a great cruise. Nothing wrong that we were aware of..

I was wondering if a passenger had some sort of medical problem. But you would think she would have left by now!

My guess would be totally that. . . a Guess. Possibly there is a large group who booked their air via Carnival, and have had a delay in arriving in South Florida. Hopefully they'll get moving soon so that they won't have any delay for the day in Freeport tomorrow.

For those who had the early seating for dinner, they were able to eat, come back out on deck, and have everything still be the same as when they boarded - - just darker.

Actually sailing away at night is an added bonus in my book, you get to see the buildings all lit up. I know the gamblers were upset, with the ship sitting at the dock:D

It is such a short haul to Freeport, they could leave at midnight and still make it by 6 in the morning.

 

Could be a dozen reasons why they did not leave on time, we will just have to wait till someone can tell us on board or after they get back.
