QM2 - TA Extended Round Trip May 2008

One thing is certain - we are planning to do a westbound TA leaving Southampton on 16th May 2008. :)

 

What isn't yet decided is if (a) we disembark in New York for a few nights then fly home, or (b) stay on and do 'The Spring Adventure' (TA + Memorial Day Cruise + TA) or © disembark in New York spend 5 nights there and then rejoin the QM2 for the Eastbound TA home.

 

2 questions:

 

1. If we go for option (a) is it straight forward to take our return flight a few days later without booking our hotel via Cunard?

 

2. If we do the 'Spring Adventure' (option b) - what happens when we get to New York at the end of the first 2 sections re. our cabin, luggage and those nice guys at immigration? I guess that we'll be 'walk-offs' so get to disembark early?
