Internet cafe in Progresso near pier?

Howdy!

 

I will be in Progresso on Tuesday, May 22nd on the Ecstasy. While we plan to do a Uxaml tour, I am hoping to get to an internet cafe for a bit. The prices on the ship sound high - especially if the connection is slow. Does anyone know if there is something near the pier for a quick WWW fix?

I haven't seen an internet cafe in Progreso. I have used several in Merida. Remember, everything on the screen is in Spanish.

Thanks for the information. I doubt we will have time for Merida with the excursion, but we shall see. The Spanish is not a problem. I can usually figure things out on a computer - thank goodness for icons.

We were in Progreso on April 9. We took the double-decker bus tour and the tour guide pointed out a place that was an internet cafe with what seemed to be reasonable rates, but I don't remember what the rates were, sorry! But, anyway, if you take the cheap tour (which is a pretty good way to get a quick look at the area and get your bearings anyway) they will probably mention it and then you will know where it is...
