BeardedGuy Posted June 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2004 Hi all - My wife and I are booked in an M-1 Cabin (4033) for the Iberian Summer cruise. Can anyone tell us the layout - hi or low points, pics, etc.? I appreciate the great info on these boards. geopa Posted June 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2004 We stayed in a Cat M-1 on the QE2 but on 5 deck, big mistake but being on 4 deck should be an improvement. Out cabin was quite worn but with a fairly new bathroom. The AC on 5 deck and several other decks was very poor--this on a 4th of July cruise to Bermuda,Bahamas and New Port News during a heat wave. Still it was a once in a life time event that I would not have missed ( but I would have upgraded to Caronia cabin--hopefully the AC might have worked better)
Vic The Parrot Posted June 19, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 19, 2004 Dear Mr Beard According to my deck plan, cabin 4033 is an upside-down "L" shape. Upon entering, the bathroom will be on the left. It's narrow at this point, almost looks like a hallway. Going further, there will be 1 wardrobe, and after that, the cabin opens up to its width. There are 2 twin beds, with a nightstand in between. The bed under the porthole has another wardrobe at the base. to say the least, it looks cosy enough for 2 people. I'd say it's a nice room to hang your hat. Any questions, give a shout. vic 16 - HAL 10 - Cunard 4 - Home Lines 2 - NCL 2 - Royal Viking Line "Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines"
