Tahitian Princess Boarding Time?

For those of you with Polynesian experience perhaps you can help. I asked this on the Pacific Islands board but only got one response.

Princess official boarding time for the TP is 1:00 PM. Can anyone tell be if earlier boarding is possible, say around 11:00 AM. Is there a place on the dock where you can at least store your bags in the morning, before boarding?

Thanks, David

We boarded at 10:30 or 11am ... in fact, they made us leave the IC Tahiti at 9:30am (we wanted to stay longer!!) to get the Princess transfers. It seemed like check-in was open in "waves" ... every couple hours they would call the embarkation crew down again, so if I were you, I would just make sure to try to get in the "wave" of IC Tahiti pre-cruise stay people in order to ensure an early check in.
