fivesenuff5 Posted April 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2007 We will be going in November and was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a family friendly beach. I have 5 kids ages 13-7yo. Are there any resorts that do a day pass that has a enough to keep the kids entertained. Are there any great beaches that we can take by taxi so we don't have to buy an overpriced cruise tour? hubofhockey Posted April 30, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2007 Sea Grape is my favorite. The ships to excursions there. But you can certainly get there on your own and do it for much less.
travmagic Posted May 7, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2007 We are wondering the same thing. There are 7 of us. We are just looking for a beach that we can get chairs (hubby has a problem with sand!) and be able to grab a quick, inexpensive lunch. Is the bus the best way for that many of us to get there? Lots of views and not too many replies.

cruise.freak Posted June 10, 2007 #5 Share Posted June 10, 2007 We went to Sea Grape in March and it is a beautiful beach. It was 4.00pp for the bus ride each way. Lunch cost us about 50.00 for 5 people. We didn't get there until about 12:30 so there were no chairs left so not sure of the cost. They have outside showers which was nice. mom2girls Posted June 15, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 15, 2007 I'm looking at beaches as well. I'll be going August 1st. I've done the stingrays a couple of times and my youngest is too young anyway. I want a beach in which I can just relax and soak up the sun.
