Dewsmom Posted April 30, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2007 Hi, I am taking my 80-year-old mother on a cruise that will stop in Bermuda for one day. I think I want to take her to the caves, but many of the other suggestions I've seen require quite a bit of walking. Any ideas for keeping a non-swimming, non-beach-type, slow walking senior entertained in Bermuda? Thanks
cruizinwithkids Posted April 30, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2007 I think I would try a taxi tour. Here is a thread I found that seems pretty useful. I was also thinking of high tea. I've seen that listed as an activity. I know some of the ships offer high tea, but they don't seem to be as fancy as they used to be. I'd like to try a Bermuda high tea sometime. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=395124&highlight=taxi+tour I hope this link works. Dewsmom Posted April 30, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted April 30, 2007 Thanks Cruizinwithkids. I'll give it a try. Maybe I can hook up with others from the ship to share a cab tour. :D
