Anyone have any suggestions for the night before a cruise in July?

My personal favourit is the Star, an old coaching inn on Hight Street. It does not have all the amenities modern hotels might have but it has a lot of charme. The location right in the centre of the old town is perfect if you have time to visit some of the sights.

The Holiday Inn is fine (be careful, there are 2 in the area, make sure to get the right one), right next door to dock 8.

The Grand Harbour across the road is a tad more expensive, but rather nice:)
