Listel Hotel - Vancouver?

Since nobody seems to know anything about one of my other choices (Nelson House B&B), how about the Listel Hotel? Can someone help make this decision for us?

I have just read some pretty sad reveiws on this hotel It looked wonderful until I read them. I am trying to check out the Club Intrawest now....wanted 5 star quality at 3 star price :D

We recently stayed at the Listel in February (attending a downtown conference) and really liked it. It's a smaller boutique hotel and doesn't have a big fancy lobby, fitness facilities, etc. that the big chains do, but we liked that. The service was very warm and friendly, the rooms were lovely and the location is very central to shopping, dining, and Stanley Park. The price was also very good. I'd say it's a solid 3 1/2 - 4* hotel.

 

Anything specific you'd like to know?

 

p.s. floridatoucan, what sad reviews did you read? It's very highly rated on Trip Advisor.

I haven't stayed overnight in the guest rooms, but I have attended several receptions and schmoozes there. The decor of the meeting rooms and the catering are very good. Based on what I have seen, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there myself.
