Beachgirl6479 Posted May 2, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2007 I love snorkling, but I am going on a cruise with a friend who doesn't really swim. What's your opinions on the Sea Spi tour, the Seaworld Explorer semi-sub, the Nautilus semi-sub, and the Atlantis submarine? I read on another thread that some people did not see a lot on the Atlantis and it wasn't worth the money. Is this true?
MsShel330 Posted May 13, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2007 My family doesn't swim either (plus some are afraid of animals) so some of the more popular excursions are out of the question for them. I'm checking on the Cayman Islands website to see what else is available because it doesn't seem that Carnival has much variety with excursions for Grand Cayman. dyin2cruz Posted May 13, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2007 I went to shoretrips.com, they booked our excursions last summer, and booked the thriller boat ride. I go and do it in 3 weeks and will let everyone know what I thought. In the mean time, check out their website. They are very reputable.

FlightMedic555 Posted November 19, 2007 #5 Share Posted November 19, 2007 The best excursion, bar none, is to the Stingray Sand Bar. The water depth is only 3 feet so even if you don't swim it is not an issue. There is a close by, but separate Stingray City that is in 12 feet of water that some SCUBA excursions may go to.
