Final advice?

My husband and I are cruising without our young sons for a week at the end of August. My husband is deploying soon so the goal is just to relax. Would you recommend Magen's Bay in St. Thomas? We would like to take our time, take a taxi, rent a chair and umbrella, swim, have a snack or cold drink and then look around St. Thomas some?
