how far apart is the zoo and queens staircase? Can we walk or take a jitty or taxi? We know for sure we want to go to the zoo, saw some pictures of the staircase and thought it might be interesting. Do not really wnt to go to Atlantis, will have a 14 year old with us so the cansios are out. also want to do some shopping I think on bay street maybe scheck out the strawmarket.

We walked to the queens staircase from the pier and it was not too far...maybe a 10-15 minute walk? The zoo might be walkable, but we did not see a sidewalk and didn't want to walk on the street, so we got a taxi there. I don't quite remember, but it was less than like $10 or 15 round trip for the taxi I think?
