Nassau Review

We just returned from a 5 day Elation cruise- our last port was Nassau. We had been there last year and did the Atlantis excursion from RCI, plus a surrey ride and an afternoon at Ardastra Gardens and Zoo. Fun day.

This year we decided to stay in town and walk to the British Colonial Hilton. As has been mentioned on this forum, you can get at day pass at this hotel for use of their pool and beach.

We had had alot of sun in Grand Turk and at Half Moon Cay, so decided instead to have tea and fruit and pastries in the breakfast room. We walked around the lovely grounds, shopped in the little shop, and enjoyed the ambiance of this charming hotel.

After this we walked to the Pirate's Museum which is a dungeon like place with good displays and an airy courtyard in the center.

We then shopped on Bay St. where there are upscale shops and basic shops. One nice touch is plenty of benches along Bay St. We walked back to the pier and shopped again at Festival Place. Good day in Nassau.
