Freeport Q

Being an engineering student, and a guy that relates well to things with a lot of horsepower, will there be any good view of all the port facilities in Freeport while we are sailing in or out, or is there anywhere we could go to see the drydocks and such? Big machines do rock...they might not be a touristy thing for some, but to me, they're very photogenic! LOL...:D

The port in Freeport is very industrial and you may see other ships in drydock when you're there. If you're lucky, it will be another cruise ship undergoing refurbishment. Or it could be a freighter. The shipyard is a major employer on Grand Bahama Island. I'm not aware of any way that you'd be given access to those areas. Your best bet is what you can see from the highest deck on your ship.
