FLL Hampton Inn/Plantation--can you leave your car?

Can you leave your car at the Plantation/Hampton Inn in FLL while you are gone on your cruise? Or is it better to leave it at the Carnival parking garage? I have heard from some people that a lot of hotels in the area allow you to leave it free of charge or for a small fee, while you are gone on your cruise for the week. Anyone know? Just wondering if it's cheaper to leave it at the hotel since we will be staying 1 or 2 nights at the hotel before we leave on our cruise.

There were a few in FLL - we stayed at the Hollywood La Quinta and left the car. It included the room, breakfast buffet, shuttle to the port, and the car parking for just a little more than the parking garage at the port alone.

 

Try park/sleep/fly.com or something like that for the other hotels.
