Inde2008 Posted May 7, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 7, 2007 We are doing Independence next summer and it's all about the kids. Will they be queueing for the surfing, ice skating and wall all the time? Is there table tennis? What's The Lounge like? Do they get their own time at karaoke etc.? Also - what are the different dining rooms like, is the main one impersonal with its size? Thanks nick@nhcf.co.uk

Wall -- Yes, most of the time. Yes Table Tennis. Karaoke for the kids, not on our cruise-- but I'm sure that they normally do so. Dining rooms are great! They are beautiful (the Main Dining rooms with the 3 levels). Attentive service -- wonderful food. Design reminds me of Titantic era.

Thanks nick@nhcf.co.uk There are special times for surfing, ice skating, and the rock wall. check the Cruise Compass for hours. Which Lounge are you referring to? There are many. I don't remember kids Karaoke but there were booths where you could do your own recording. Kids could do that. The dining rooms are made less impersonal by the company you keep as well as the wait staff you get.

Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted May 14, 2007 #8 Share Posted May 14, 2007 Yes, we are going on June 30th and would like to know what kinds of entertainment are offered nightly and how are the shows. Also how are the choices for lunch in the windjammer and are the lines extremely long. I love the crown viking lunge I heard she is two lounges how does that work, And most importantly as our flight home is 12:15 if we will make it to Miami airport by then. Thanx and enjoy!!!
