Any suggestions for good private tours in crete?

We have booked Lefteris Nikiforakis for a tour of Crete. His recommendation is to tour the Palace of Knossos and the city of Hraklion, the historical museum, and cathedral, the venetian port and the open market. This will take about 7 hours and he charges 40 euros per hour. Since this is not til July, I cannot tell you of the quality of his tour. His web site is www.greecetravel.com/crete/taxitours.
