cruisingeurope Posted May 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2007 Hi~ We will be flying Scandanavian Air from Copenhagen to the US in June. Has anyone flown on this airline? Any comments? We tried to exchange our assigned seats and they say that they are booked up entirely, so it will be a full house! Thanks!
kla203 Posted May 11, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2007 @cruisingeurope We went to US (Newark) last year (Sept/OCT) - tehy are ok, but the service in "monkey class" isn't the best, the change some of the rules regarding what is for free, but they do have a pretty ok movieselection etc. ask if any questions
estebofarr Posted May 15, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 15, 2007 I've flown SAS many times. What exactly did you want to know?
The Viking Posted May 15, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2007 As far as I am aware SAS and DELTA are the only direct choices from DK to the USA. DELTA utilizes Boeing 767-300ER and SAS Airbus 340-300. Seat Pitch and with are the same. From many DELTA and SAS transatlantic flights I will prefer SAS as they are more likely to have a pleasant crew. California Native Posted May 15, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 15, 2007 i flew DL from Barcelona to ATL and then onwards to SJC in all of my flights to and from Europe Delta was the worst I've flown SAS and I found them quite pleasant. SAS is in an alliance with UA among others so you can get miles on your FF account if you have one. though I have a Delta Amex card, which I use mostly to fly on Air France (free wine and then of course yummy baquette and/or croissants with your meal!)
