Hostage situation in Costa Rica - Russian Ambassador Reported Taken

Russia's ambassador to Costa Rica and seven other people have been taken hostage at the country's embassy by an armed man, The Associated Press reports

The armed man who reportedly took several people hostage at Moscow's embassy in Costa Rica for four hours Friday, including the ambassador, has surrendered peacefully to authorities, television images showed.

Authorities report that it was all a big mistake as the hostages had booked a tour with Oscar Brown Tours.
