Is it worth it to purchase Spa treatments before you board? Don't you still have to make a specific appointment when you get on the ship? Or are you given some sort of prioritly? Leaving Sunday onthe Noordam...:D

The spas are pricey so money saved might not be an issue. I am one who simply prefers to have my arrangements confirmed ahead of time for anything optional. I do not want to wait in line and then perhaps not get my choice of time and date.

 

I pre-booked for the Noordam on the sailing after yours and see no reason not to do so unless you are uncertain about the service itself.

Noordam offers very reasonable packages once the ship has sailed. If you book something on a port day you will really save. We would book our services for late in the day and then come back to the ship for a relaxing treatment before our late dinner seating.:)

I just got off the msNoordam on a wonderful cruise through the Panama Canal.

 

Book everything onboard with the exception of shore excursions. HAL has a problem with their web site bookings. If you do it onboard at the SPA desk everything goes perfectly and you could actually save some money.

I agree with washaw; I had no problems booking my spa treatments on board. Like him, however, I experienced horrific problems with using HAL's on-line booking system for anything other than shore excursions.
