while parasailing in St.Thomas can you

We booked the excursion to parasail in St. Thomas. Can you take pictures while you're up? Do they allow you to do that? Dh wants to hang the camera around his neck and get some shots while we're up. It would be beautiful, but not sure if they'll let us take the cameras up. Any experiences?
